Born Guilty Opening Title Sequences (2018)Born Guilty is an independent comedy-drama starring Rosanna Arquette, known for her work in Pulp Fiction and Desperately Seeking Susan. The film explores the complexities of mother-son relationships with wit and heart. It was screened at festivals such as the Sarasota Film Festival and the Boston International Film Festival, and was considered for the 2021 Young Director Award in Europe.
My Role: Designer/Animator
I worked on the project from concept to final delivery, collaborating with the creative director and a small design team to develop a hand-drawn, illustration-based title sequence infused with playful humor. I led the design for multiple key shots and executed the majority of the animation — from type and cel animation to character animation. Despite being a low-budget production, the project gave us full creative freedom to shape the visual storytelling from scratch—translating narrative themes into a charming and character-driven graphic world.
